Nassau Title Company offers a 2 day turnaround on our title searches, mail away/electronic closings, and no junk fees ever charged to your clients. We offer immediate electronic funding for sellers proceeds at no charge. Let us scan your clients copy packages on CD for easy storage with your business card right on the top.
We offer after hour closings for those clients who can't otherwise attend during regular business hours as well as mobile closings.
Unlike most title companies, we have the convenience of an in house attorney, which gives us the ability to prepare contracts, deeds without the purchase of insurance as well as document review or representation for your client.
Robert Peters- Prior to starting Florida State University as an undergrad, I was in the United States Air Force where I got to see the world and serve my country. I majored in accounting and real estate at Florida State University and earned a bachelors degree in 1987. I worked for Price Waterhouse as a CPA until law school in 1990. I graduated from Florida State University College of Law in 1993 with high honors.
My law practice focuses on consumer bankruptcy and foreclosure defense. Most of my clients are concerned about problems with creditors, potential lawsuits, and how an adverse judgment will affect their family’s future. I find this work interesting and challenging because it requires knowledge and integration of several different areas of the law including creditor rights, bankruptcy law, tax law, estate planning, real estate and an understanding of human nature. I feel a sense of accomplishment whenever I help my clients through a difficult financial period in their lives. I provide most legal services on a fixed-fee basis so clients know their legal cost in advance. The most rewarding aspect of being an attorney is helping people restart their lives after enduring financial hardship.

Michelle VanDeren- Michelle VanDeren is a licensed title insurance agent with over 18 years experience in the title insurance industry. Michelle's background includes handling all aspects of real estate closings and title insurance. Michelle also has a background as a loan officer, mortgage lending, processing loans, collections, conducting real estate closings from beginning to end and extensive experience with title insurance. Courtney Blake- Courtney comes to Nassau Title Company with over 20 years experience in title insurance and real estate closings. Courtney is well versed in all of the new RESPA guidelines, short sales, mobile home transfers, conventional-FHA-VA closings, new construction and private money/seller financed mortgages.
